The MSX homecomputer-standard was defined 1983 by Microsoft and ASCII. This standard was not so successful as the PC-standard, but still interesting. There were 4 generations of computers (produced and distributed by several electronic companies): MSX, MSX2, MSX2+, MSX Turbo-R.
